Here are my top 5 to-do's that make your summer complete
Michigan summers always seem to fly by. Before the kids head back to school, the leaves begin to change, and pumpkin spice takes over, make sure you check these things off your summer bucket list!

1. Catch One Last Sunset on the Water
Whether it's Lake St. Clair, Metro Beach, New Baltimore, or your favorite inland lake, there's nothing quite like a Michigan sunset. Pack a picnic, grab some ice cream, and soak up one more warm evening by the water.
2. Visit a Local Farmers Market
August is one of the best months for fresh Michigan produce. Stock up on sweet corn, peaches, tomatoes, blueberries, and locally made treats while supporting small businesses in our community.

3. Take a Scenic Drive
Cruise M-29 along Lake St. Clair, explore the back roads of northern Macomb County, or spend an afternoon discovering small towns you've never visited. Sometimes the best adventures are close to home.
4. Enjoy an Outdoor Festival or Concert
Late summer is packed with community festivals, live music, food trucks, and classic car shows. It's a great time to get outside, support local businesses, and make a few more summer memories before fall arrives.
5. Get Your Home Ready for Fall
Before cooler weather sets in, clean out your gutters, inspect your roof, seal any drafty windows, and schedule a furnace tune-up. A little maintenance now can save time, money, and headaches later.

Summer doesn't last forever—but the memories can. Get out there, enjoy everything Michigan has to offer, and make these final weeks count!
Thinking about buying or selling this fall? Now is a great time to start planning. If you have questions about today's market or are curious what your home is worth, Jesse Long is always happy to help.
